ok so, since when is deviant art a METART knock off with butterfaces. clothed people, scantly clad people, hell even buildings have more artistic integrity than some of the hack work ive been looking at.

oh look im covering my vagina, thats artsy. no, it isnt. i wish it would stop.

its almost as bad as the naruto fan art.

awesome work! you have a new pair of eyes watching you. +devwatch. i've always been into just plain old drawing and digital art, and have never persued paints (aside from spray paint) as a medium to work with. i really want to, i guess i've just lacked the motivation. great work yo! i will be watching your work. later. now to see the rest of your gallery.

It's funny I read that in someone elses journal. I recently started to shy away from digital art and photographic processes to spend more time with mixed media. Now that I think in everyday objects I can go back and think about digital work and photographic processes the same way and I've gotten all sorts of fun new ideas for installations and video projections, and sculptures. It's quite wonderful. You just really don't get enough interaction with your work through digital means to feel truly satisfied when you finish something. Clicking a mouse just doesn't beat having to take a shower and change clothes when you're done with a big ass messy charcoal and paint/mixed media piece.
